HSI First Aid | CPR AED Training Program Overview

The goal of the HSI First Aid | CPR AED training program is to help participants gain or improve their knowledge and skills in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for adults, children, and infants. This program is ideal for individuals/teachers/workplace

Note: This course is for lay responders (non-medical) and meets all state and OSHA requirements. However, it is NOT intended for licensed healthcare providers. If you are a licensed healthcare provider, please take the AHA BLS Provider course instead.

HSI First Aid | CPR AED reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, as well as the annual Guidelines Update.

About the Course

This is a blended learning course that includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session (Online + Classroom). The online portion MUST be completed prior to attending the in-person skills portion.

For your convenience, we have broken the classes down so you only take what you need. Your in-person skills session will cover only the skills you learned in the online lecture portion of the course.

Your Course Options - Please Select only 1 Course

  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid

Allow approximately 3-5 hours to complete the online portion, depending on the selected course.

Once you have completed your online course, you will attend an in-person skills session. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, as some skills may require you to be on the floor.

Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with directions on how to access your online training. Only sign up for one course. If you accidentally register for the incorrect online course, please let us know, and we will adjust it for you - Please do not register for more than 1 online course.

Upon completing the online course and in-person skills session, you will receive a certification that is valid for two years.
