Welcome to the CPR Class Finder website at https://cprclassfinder.us (the "Site"). This Site is operated by ResQWare LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). CPR Class Finder is a public-facing class-listing and search portal that displays CPR, AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS, First Aid, and related life-safety training classes offered by training centers and instructors who use our companion platform, CPR Enroll (at cprenroll.com), which is also operated by ResQWare LLC.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information, including personally identifiable information ("Personal Data"), in connection with the Site.

1. About CPR Class Finder and CPR Enroll
CPR Class Finder is a front-end listing portal: it displays class information drawn from the CPR Enroll database. CPR Enroll is our companion training-administration platform used by instructors and training centers to publish their class offerings.
What this means for you:
- When you browse or search the Site, we collect limited information about your visit and any search inputs you provide (e.g., ZIP code, certification type).
- When you click through to register or enroll in a specific class, you are typically directed to a CPR Enroll-hosted registration page operated for the instructor. Once you submit registration or payment information through that page, the CPR Enroll Privacy Policy (https://cprenroll.com/privacy-policy/) governs how that information is handled, in addition to this Policy.
- Both CPR Class Finder and CPR Enroll are operated by ResQWare LLC, so information moving between them is moving between two products of the same company — not being sold or shared with an unaffiliated third party.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two general categories of information:
- Personally Identifiable Information ("Personal Data") — information that identifies you personally, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, or employer name.
- Non-Personally Identifiable Information ("Non-Personal Data") — technical or aggregated information that does not on its own identify you, such as page views, browser type, operating system, or anonymized usage trends.
A. Information You Provide
- Search inputs: ZIP code, city, certification type sought (e.g., BLS, ACLS, Heartsaver), date ranges, and other search filters.
- Account data (if you create an optional Site account): Username, email, hashed password, saved searches, and similar profile preferences.
- Inquiry forms: Name, email, and any message you submit when contacting us or requesting information about classes.
- Communications: Content of emails or support tickets you send to us.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you interact with the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device and connection data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, Internet service provider, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, language, referring URL.
- Usage data: Pages viewed, time spent on pages, clickstream paths, search queries, classes viewed, links clicked, dates and times of access.
- Approximate location: Inferred from IP address (city/region level) to surface nearby classes. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you grant explicit permission through your browser.
- Analytics and diagnostics: Crash reports, performance data, and feature-usage telemetry.
C. Information From CPR Enroll and Other Sources
- Class listing data: Class details (instructor, location, date/time, price, certification type) are drawn from the CPR Enroll database to populate the Site.
- Click-through and conversion data: When you click through to a CPR Enroll registration page, we may receive confirmation that the action occurred so we can measure listing performance and improve search relevance.
3. How We Gather Information
We gather information:
- Directly from you when you search, contact us, or submit a form.
- Automatically through cookies, log files, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
- From CPR Enroll as described in Section 2C, since CPR Class Finder is a front-end display layer for the CPR Enroll database.
- From service providers that help us operate, secure, and improve the Site (analytics, hosting, fraud prevention, email delivery).
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Operate the Site: Display class listings, return search results, route you to the appropriate registration page.
- Customer support: Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Communications:
- Transactional messages (responses to inquiries, account notices) — essential to providing the Site.
- Marketing messages (newsletters, promotional content) — sent only with appropriate consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
- Improvement and analytics: Understand how visitors use the Site, test new features, measure marketing effectiveness, and improve search relevance.
- Security and fraud prevention: Detect and block suspicious activity, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users from harm.
- Legal compliance: Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests, and protect the rights, property, or safety of ResQWare LLC, our users, and the public.
We do not sell Personal Data, and we do not divulge Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
5. With Whom We Share Information
We disclose Personal Data only in the following circumstances:
A. Within the ResQWare LLC Family of Products
When you click through to register for a class, we pass relevant information to CPR Enroll, which is operated by ResQWare LLC. CPR Enroll's processing of that information is governed by the CPR Enroll Privacy Policy in addition to this one. Because both products are operated by the same company, this is an internal transfer between products, not a third-party data sale.
B. With Service Providers (Sub-Processors)
We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site under written agreements that restrict their use of the data, including:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure (e.g., AWS or comparable U.S.-based providers)
- Email delivery (e.g., SendGrid or comparable providers)
- SMS delivery (e.g., Twilio or comparable providers, where applicable)
- Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics or comparable providers)
- Customer-support and helpdesk tools
- Fraud and security tooling
We do not receive or store full credit/debit card numbers on the Site itself; any class payments are processed by CPR Enroll's PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor.
C. With Training Centers and Instructors
If your search or inquiry routes to a specific instructor, the instructor delivering the class (and that instructor's training center) will receive your registration data through the CPR Enroll platform. That instructor handles your information under their own privacy practices and applicable certifying-body requirements.
D. Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is required to:
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful requests from public authorities
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of ResQWare LLC, our users, or others
- Investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected fraud or illegal activity
E. Business Transfers
If ResQWare LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice (e.g., via email and/or a prominent Site notice) before Personal Data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
F. With Your Consent
We may share information for other purposes that we disclose to you and for which you give us your consent.
G. Aggregated or De-Identified Data
We may create and share aggregated or de-identified information for research, reporting, analytics, and marketing.
We do not sell Personal Data for monetary consideration. Whether some advertising and analytics activities qualify as "sharing" under specific state laws is addressed in Sections 13 and 14.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site:
- Strictly necessary — required for security, fraud detection, and basic functionality
- Functional — remember preferences such as your last search or ZIP code
- Analytics — help us understand how the Site is used (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Advertising / targeting (if applicable) — measure ad performance

7. Security of Information
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect Personal Data, including:
- TLS/SSL encryption of data in transit
- Encryption at rest for sensitive fields
- Role-based access controls and audit logging
- Regular vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Use of PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors via CPR Enroll for any transaction processing
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach affecting your Personal Data occurs, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law. By using the Site, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically about security, privacy, and administrative matters.

8. Storage and Retention of Information
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations.
- Inquiry and contact records: Retained for a reasonable period to respond to follow-up questions.
- Site account data (if created): Retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Analytics and log data: Retained in identifiable form for a limited period, then aggregated or deleted.
- Backups and archives: Residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. International Data Transfers
ResQWare LLC is based in the United States, and all Personal Data is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
10. Children's Information
The Site is intended for adults (18+) or for adults acting on behalf of a minor (for example, a parent enrolling a teen in a babysitter-safety class or an employer registering staff).
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has provided Personal Data to us, please contact [email protected] so we can delete it.
If a training center registers a minor for a class through CPR Enroll based on a click-through from the Site, the training center is responsible for obtaining all required parental or guardian consents and complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and other applicable child-privacy laws.
11. Health Information & HIPAA Note
CPR Class Finder is a class-discovery and listing portal, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and standard CPR/first-aid certification records are not Protected Health Information ("PHI") as defined by HIPAA in this context. Please do not submit clinical or medical records through the Site.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data:
- Access: Request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your Personal Data.
- Portability: Receive a copy of your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional email or SMS at any time.
- Opt out of sale / sharing / targeted advertising: Where applicable.
- Limit use of sensitive Personal Data: Where applicable.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent.
- Non-discrimination: We will not deny services or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Appeal: Some states allow you to appeal a denied request; you may do so by replying to our response.

We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request (typically by asking you to confirm at least two items of information we already have on file). You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law; we may request proof of authorization.
We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 45 days under most U.S. state privacy laws), and we may extend that period where permitted.
13. California Residents — Your Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
This section provides additional disclosures for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and California Civil Code Section 1798.83.
A. California Information-Sharing Disclosure ("Shine the Light" — Civ. Code § 1798.83)
ResQWare LLC does not share Personal Data with third parties for those third parties' own direct-marketing purposes unless you affirmatively opt in. California customers may request further information about our compliance with this law by emailing [email protected]. We are only required to respond to one such request per customer each year.

We do not knowingly collect biometric information; racial or ethnic origin; religious or philosophical beliefs; union membership; genetic data; precise geolocation; or information about your sex life or sexual orientation.
C. Sources, Purposes, Disclosures
Sources of Personal Data, business and commercial purposes for processing, and categories of recipients to whom we disclose Personal Data are described in Sections 2 through 5 of this Policy.
D. "Sale" and "Sharing"
ResQWare LLC does not sell Personal Data for monetary consideration. Some advertising or analytics activity may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You may opt out at any time by:

- Submitting a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from a supported browser, which we honor as an opt-out of sale/sharing
E. CCPA/CPRA Consumer Rights
You have the rights listed in Section 12, plus the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any CCPA/CPRA right.

We will verify your identity before responding. You may designate an authorized agent; if your agent holds a power of attorney under California Probate Code §§ 4000–4465, please provide proof. Otherwise, we will require your agent to submit written permission, will verify your identity directly with us, and will ask for proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf.
G. Minors
We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Data of consumers under 16 without affirmative authorization.
14. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island (and other states with comparable laws as they take effect) have rights generally comparable to those described in Section 13.
To exercise these rights, use the contact methods in Sections 13 and 19. We verify identity, respond within the legally required timeframe (typically 45 days, with one allowable extension where permitted), and obtain opt-in consent before processing "sensitive data" where required. We honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms such as Global Privacy Control.
15. SMS / Text Messaging Privacy
If you opt in to receive text messages from CPR Class Finder, the following applies:
- Message frequency varies based on your activity.
- Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance, or email [email protected].
- We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to provide the service you requested.

16. Do Not Track Signals
Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of those signals. We do honor valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" as described in Section 13.
17. Third-Party Websites and Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including training-center websites and certifying-body websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Once you click an external link, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third party before providing your information.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as an email notice or a prominent Site banner) prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
