American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid
The Heartsaver First Aid Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session in person. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session, will receive a Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion card, valid for two years.
Designed to meet OSHA regulations, Heartsaver First Aid covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.
The AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.
