Description:
When athletes become ill or injured during practice or competition, those responsible for their care must be prepared to respond quickly and effectively. Whether on the field, court, pool, or in the gym, this course prepares individuals to handle the most common injuries and emergencies in physically active settings.
Primarily designed for sports coaches, it is also valuable for athletic trainers, athletic administrators, parents of athletes, personal trainers, fitness instructors, and physical education teachers. This course is ideal for anyone working with active youth or adults. Participants will learn how to prevent injuries, provide basic first aid, and manage on-field or on-site emergencies to ensure athlete safety.
