The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to provide high-quality CPR and AED use. This course equips individuals and workplaces with the confidence to respond effectively to emergencies until emergency responders arrive. 

The HeartCode format is a blended learning delivery method, which consists of students completing an online course prior to an in-person skills test. You must complete the HeartCode Heartsaver CPR AED online prior to your testing session (purchased separately for $18.50).  Bring a hard-copy of the Completion Certificate with you to your skills session. Who should take this course?

The AHA’s Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared to respond effectively to CPR emergencies at work, home, or in the community, or who CPR training and a course completion card for job or other requirements. Heartsaver CPR AED is NOT designed to meet OSHA or regulatory requirements.
