Description:
The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver Basic First Aid, CPR, & AED course trains participants to provide high-quality first aid, CPR, and AED use. This course equips individuals and workplaces with the confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies until emergency responders arrive.
The HeartCode format is a blended learning delivery method, which consists of students completing an online course prior to an in-person skills test. You must complete the HeartCode Heartsaver Basic online prior to your testing session (purchased separately for $23). Bring a hard-copy of the Completion Certificate with you to your skills session. We cannot test you without this certificate. If you have not yet completed the course online, you can find the link to purchase here: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-basic-heartsaver-first-aid-cpr-aed-online
