In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions in the confirmaton email sent to you.
This course follows a blended/hybrid class format, where course topics are covered through an online course prior to an in-person session with an instructor. You must complete the First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor online course prior to your in-person session. The cost of the online portion is included in this class fee, and a link will be sent to you after registration so you can complete the online training.
Please ensure that this is the correct instructor class for you prior to registration. This course only certifies you to teach basic First Aid/CPR/AED courses through the American Red Cross. If you plan on teaching healthcare providers or BLS classes, you may need to take a different instructor class. If you have questions about whether this course is right for you, call or email us for more information.
