Description:
*Emergent/Same-Day Sessions- Please Read All Details Below*
This service is intended for last-minute, time-sensitive certification for the hands-on skills component of the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode® ACLS course. This option is also appropriate for individuals or pairs who prefer a private, one-on-one session with an instructor for reasons such as test anxiety, chronic medical conditions, or other personal considerations.
Common requests for emergent sessions include providers with extenuating circumstances who are at risk of certification or licensure lapse, job or contract termination, removal from work schedules, or loss of contingent college program acceptance if certification is not obtained within a short timeframe (typically within 48 hours).
You are responsible for selecting, purchasing, and completing the correct certifying organization and course based on your employer’s or institution’s requirements. Please verify all requirements prior to booking your session and completing course content.
Additional costs may be incurred for sessions requested under the following conditions:
-
Less than 2 hours’ notice
-
During holidays
-
Third-shift or overnight hours
-
Inclement weather
-
Private sessions conducted outside of a MedUltra CPR brick-and-mortar location (e.g., workplace, residence, etc.)*
If your situation is not emergent or time-sensitive and you do not require a private session to complete your course as soon as possible, please visit the class listing titled “HeartCode ACLS Skills Session Only (Online Portion Purchased Separately from AHA)” to view locations, delivery options, pricing, and availability for public classes with open enrollment.
*Private session locations must meet criteria established by the American Heart Association for professional training sites.
**MedUltra Learning, LLC does its best to accommodate all training requests; however, we reserve the right to decline requests that do not align with the best interests of the company, our instructional team, our community partners, or the professional organizations through which we are authorized to provide certification.
HeartCode ACLS
The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams. The course reflects science and education from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
The HeartCode format is a blended learning delivery method, which consists of students completing an online course prior to an in-person skills test. You must complete the HeartCode ACLS online portion (purchased separately for $173) prior to your testing session, as the certificate of completion is due at check-in. If you have not yet completed the course online, you can find the link to purchase here: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-acls
