American Heart Association First Time or Renewal Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed for Health Care Professionals such as a Doctor, Nurse, students applying for a career in health care, CNA, Medical Assistant, Pharmacist, Pharmacist Technician, Dentist, Hygienist, Dental Assistant, Optometrist, Physical Therapist, EMT, PCT, Paramedic, Med Surg. Tech, Phlebotomist, Medical Lab Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, and many more careers in Health Care. This course is not limited to the fields named above but added as examples. What is included in this course?
The BLS Providers course teaches CPR hands on skills for helping victims of all ages (adult/child/infant), including providing ventilation (mouth to mouth) with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (chocking). Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals and more.
