HSI Bloodborne Pathogens

Description:

This course helps students understand what bloodborne pathogens are (HIV, Hepatitis B & C) and how to reduce the risk of exposure for themselves and others. It assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).

Audience: Any employee with a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or OPIM.

This program conforms to the recommendations of the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Best Practices Guide.
