
HSI CPR AED (All Ages)
Description:
This course is designed to provide non-medical professionals with the knowledge and skills to perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The program covers the Chain of Survival, recognition of cardiac arrest, high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and choking relief for adults, children, and infants.
Audience: Teachers, personal trainers, safety officers, and lay responders who are required to have CPR/AED certification but do not require First Aid training.
This program conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and is based on the 2020 International Consensus on CPR and ECC Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR).
