American Red Cross Babysitter's Training with Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid — Gambrills, MD · Oct 26, 2026

Designed for youth ages 11–17, this course provides the knowledge and skills needed to care for infants and children safely and responsibly. Participants will learn how to provide basic care, manage common babysitting situations, make good decisions, communicate with parents, and respond appropriately to emergencies.

The course also includes Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training, giving participants hands-on practice responding to injuries, illnesses, cardiac emergencies, and choking involving children and infants.

This course is ideal for youth who are beginning to babysit, care for younger siblings or family members, or simply want to build greater confidence, responsibility, and emergency preparedness.

Certification: Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training certification valid for 10 years and a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification valid for 2 years.
