In an Emergency
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.
Do not use this website to ask for medical help, to look up emergency procedures in real time, or to delay seeking professional help.
1. Purpose of This Disclaimer
The CPR Class Finder website at https://cprclassfinder.us (the "Site"), operated by ResQWare LLC ("we," "us," "our"), is a class-listing and search portal that helps users find CPR, AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS, First Aid, and other life-safety training classes offered by independent training centers and instructors.
The Site, and any blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, FAQs, study guides, or other content (collectively, "Site Content") it displays, is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical training, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Not Medical Advice
Nothing on the Site is intended to:
- Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
- Substitute for in-person, hands-on training delivered by a certified instructor
- Provide individualized medical, healthcare, emergency, or first-aid advice for your specific situation
- Replace the judgment of a licensed healthcare provider
Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the Site.
3. Training Outcomes Are Not Guaranteed
CPR Class Finder does not deliver training, certify individuals, or issue completion cards. All training, instruction, certification, and continuing education listed on the Site is provided by independent training centers and instructors using our companion platform, CPR Enroll. Certification cards (e.g., from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, ASHI, or other certifying organizations) are issued by the certifying body or by the listed instructor, subject to that organization's requirements.
We do not guarantee:
- The qualifications, conduct, or competence of any specific instructor or training center
- That any particular Class will meet your employer's, regulator's, or licensing board's requirements
- That you will successfully complete or pass any Class
- That a certification card from a specific Class will be accepted in any specific jurisdiction or workplace
You are responsible for confirming, before registering for a Class, that the Class meets your requirements.
4. Physical Risk Acknowledgment
CPR and related life-safety training involves physical activity — including kneeling, performing chest compressions on a manikin, and exerting sustained physical effort. Participation may not be appropriate for everyone.
- If you have any medical condition, injury, or physical limitation that could be aggravated by physical exertion, you should consult a physician before participating in any Class.
- If at any point during a Class you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other adverse symptom, you should stop immediately and notify the instructor.
- Neither ResQWare LLC, CPR Class Finder, nor CPR Enroll is responsible for any injury, illness, or aggravation of a pre-existing condition that occurs during or as a result of a Class. Liability for the conduct of a Class rests with the instructor and training center delivering it.
5. Use of Skills in a Real Emergency
CPR, AED, first-aid, and other life-safety training is intended to provide knowledge and confidence to act during an emergency. However:
- Survival is not guaranteed. Even when CPR or first aid is performed correctly and promptly, the outcome of a medical emergency depends on many factors beyond your or any responder's control.
- Get professional help. Always call 911 (or your local emergency number) before, during, or as soon as possible during any emergency.
- Good Samaritan protection varies. Most U.S. states have Good Samaritan laws providing some protection from civil liability for individuals who provide reasonable emergency assistance in good faith, but the scope of protection varies by state and circumstance. Nothing on the Site should be considered legal advice about Good Samaritan protection in your jurisdiction.
6. Third-Party Content
The Site may link to or display content from third parties (training centers, certifying bodies, medical organizations, etc.). We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party content. Any medical or safety information from third parties is provided as a convenience and should be independently verified.
7. No Doctor-Patient or Instructor-Student Relationship
Your use of the Site does not create a doctor-patient, instructor-student, healthcare-provider, or any other professional relationship between you and ResQWare LLC, CPR Class Finder, CPR Enroll, or any of our employees, contractors, or affiliates.
8. Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this Medical Disclaimer from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with the "Last Updated" date revised.
