How Does This Course Work?

This course is for Initial and Renewal.

(2 Year AHA Certification)  – Same-Day Certification Card!

Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, Dentists, and Medical Personnel with Busy Schedules

The BLS Online Class Covers:

• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
• Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
• Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
• Cardiopulmonary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations

The BLS online certification class includes two parts:

• Part 1 – A self-paced series of online training modules (30 minutes – 2 hours based on experience)
• Part 2 – Skills practice at our facility (15 - 30 minutes)

This class provides the knowledge and skills for adult, child, and infant CPR, the use of an AED, and relief for choking. Students are also exposed to the 911 system and the importance of good team dynamics.  The classroom setting is ideal for students who prefer group interaction and feedback from an instructor while learning. An e-card certificate will be emailed to you following the class.

Course specifically for anyone in Childcare, Fitness, Construction, General Public, etc. Class is NOT for Healthcare Providers. 

This instructor-led course is the gold standard for healthcare professionals. It teaches single-rescuer and team-based basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings.

Audience: Physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.

This course reflects science from the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to quickly assess recognize and care for cardiac arrest provide high-quality CPR and use an AED to optimize patient outcomes. Designed for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital healthcare clinicians this training is consistent with the 2025 evidence-based science guidelines and covers additional life-threatening emergencies including respiratory arrest drowning opioid overdose myocardial infarction life-threatening bleeding and obstructed airway in adults children and infants. Participants complete an online course followed by an in-person session led by an Instructor or self-directed solution that includes knowledge-based learning and hands-on skill practice. Participants are required to successfully complete the online course and final exam and demonstrate skill competency during skills practice and testing scenarios to earn an American Red Cross Basic Life Support certificate valid for two years.

The BLS Instructor Essentials Course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended learning BLS Provider courses. It educates instructor candidates on how to use AHA Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA Instructor and course policies. The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach AHA courses. This course includes alignment with AHA, training center, Instructor manual, Instructor teach-back at our location, unlimited shadowing and support and 2 year Instructor Certification Card.

2025 Guidelines – Blended Learning with Online Course Included

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course, updated to reflect the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, combines the flexibility of online learning with instructor-led, hands-on skills practice.

Participants first complete the official AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online course at their own pace, followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session with a CPR By Jeremy instructor at their home, workplace, school, or facility. AHA describes the blended format as a self-paced online portion followed by a verified hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor. 

During the course, participants learn and practice how to:

• Perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Respond to choking emergencies
• Provide first aid for medical, injury, and environmental emergencies
• Recognize when emergency medical assistance is needed
• Respond confidently until additional help arrives

This course is ideal for teachers, childcare providers, fitness professionals, workplace employees, safety teams, and community members who need AHA certification or prefer the flexibility of completing the knowledge portion online before their hands-on session.
